1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Kiey Holdings Ltd. ("Kiey," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects and shares personal information when you access or use the Kiey Platform, website, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This policy also describes your privacy rights and how you can exercise them.
By accessing or using our Services, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part, please discontinue use of the Services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect different types of information, including:
- Account Information: First and last name, phone number, email address, and (for vendors and real estate agents) company name and service category. We collect this when you sign up and use it to create your Kiey account.
- Street Address & Approximate Location: When you sign up we ask for your street address so we can match you with the real estate team or service providers that cover your area. We do not continuously track your location. Inside the app, clients can optionally share their location in chat with a provider to receive on-site help — this only happens when you tap the share-location button.
- Referral Source (clients only): When a client signs up, we ask "How did you hear about Kiey?" and store the answer (e.g. "My Real Estate Agent", "Social Media", or free-text "Other"). We use this to understand which channels bring clients in and to thank referring agents.
- Messages, Files & Chats: Messages, photos, videos, voice notes, files, reactions, and call history you send or receive inside the Kiey Platform are stored so you can access them across devices and share with your team.
- Device Identifiers & Push Tokens: To deliver push notifications and VoIP calls, we store device tokens issued by Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging. These are cleared when you delete your account or sign out.
- Payment Information (vendors/owners): Billing is processed by Stripe and only collected through our web portal at admin.kiey.com. The Kiey mobile apps do not collect or process payment information. Stripe (not Kiey) holds your card details; we only store the subscription status needed to unlock paid features.
- Usage and Log Data: Technical data automatically collected when you use the Services, including IP address, device type, browser details, operating system, pages visited, timestamps, and cookies/trackers. We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to measure usage and capture crash reports.
- Third-Party and Derived Data: Information we receive from partners, service providers, and publicly available sources.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide and improve the Services
- Match homeowners with local real estate agents and service providers
- Fulfill contracts and manage accounts
- Send account and chat notifications via SMS, email, and push (see Section 3a)
- Communicate with you and respond to requests
- Personalize your user experience
- Conduct analytics and measure usage
- Prevent fraud and security breaches
- Comply with legal obligations
- Send marketing communications (only if you opt-in)
3a. SMS and Email Communications
When you sign up, you must agree to receive SMS and email notifications from Kiey regarding account activity, alerts, and messages. SMS messages are delivered via our SMS provider (Twilio). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- No sharing or sale of mobile data: Mobile information (your phone number and SMS consent) will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is used only to deliver the Kiey messages described above. SMS opt-in consent is never shared with third parties.
- Opting out of SMS: Reply STOP to any Kiey SMS to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help.
- Opting out of email: Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Kiey email, or adjust notification preferences inside the Kiey app under Settings → Notifications.
- Consent record: When you grant SMS or email consent during signup, we record the date, time, and the signup page URL so we can prove consent was given if required.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, pixels and similar technologies to collect usage data, enable certain website features, and personalize content. You can manage or disable cookies via browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect your experience.
5. Legal Bases for Processing (Where Applicable)
Under applicable laws like GDPR, we process personal data based on:
- Your consent
- Performance of a contract with you
- Legal obligations
- Legitimate interests (e.g., service improvement and security)
6. Sharing Your Information
We may share information with:
- Service Providers: Third parties that support our business operations (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors).
- Affiliates and Subsidiaries: Corporate partners that help support the platform.
- Business Transfers: In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or other business transactions.
- Legal Obligations: To comply with courts, law enforcement, or regulatory requirements.
- Your Consent: When you agree to share specific information for a defined purpose.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration without explicit consent.
7. International Data Transfers
If you are outside the United States (e.g., in Canada or the EU), your data may be transferred to the U.S. or other countries. We use appropriate safeguards required by law for such transfers.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide Services, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. After that, we either securely delete or de-identify the data.
8a. Account Deletion
You can delete your Kiey account at any time from inside the Kiey mobile app: Settings → Delete Account. The option is available to every user regardless of role (client, vendor, real estate agent, employee, or tenant owner).
When you delete your account, we:
- Remove your profile from every Kiey team (tenant) you belong to;
- Delete your messages and files across the platform;
- Delete your global user record, notification preferences, and device/push tokens;
- Delete your authentication credential so your phone number can be used to create a new account later;
- Unsubscribe you from SMS and email communications.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. A small amount of information may be retained in backups, audit logs, or anonymized analytics for the period required by law (typically up to 90 days) before being permanently erased.
If you are the owner of a Kiey team tenant, deleting your account also suspends billing on that tenant. Other users in your team may lose access until ownership is reassigned by Kiey support. Contact support@kiey.com if you need ownership transferred before deleting.
Clients who receive an SMS invite but never complete signup can ask us to delete their pending invite record by emailing support@kiey.com.
9. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA/PIPEDA)
If applicable, you have rights regarding your data, including:
- Access, correction, update, deletion
- Object to processing
- Portability
- Withdrawal of consent
- Opt-out of sale (where applicable)

10. Security
We implement technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for children under 16 (or under 18 where higher age of majority applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn of such collection, we will delete the data.
12. Updates to Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or prominent notice on the Service.
